Last night I made the mistake of preparing a large expresso coffee after dinner. I was hoping that my tolerance was building to the high doses of caffeine.......but I really miscalculated! Andrea was smart and had a limoncello, but my 'robust' caffe kept me awake for hours! Lesson learned!
This morning is tracking partly cloudy, but with more clouds than sun. We had breakfast outside around 9:00. Blair reported that Jeff is feeling worse and his throat is killing him. They have arranged for a doctor to come to the Villa to check him out. We feel so badly. What a terrible thing to happen. Everyone else is still ok, but very cautious. We sat outside this morning and tried not to get too close.
After resting and cleaning up a bit after breakfast we went down to the market in Bogliasco. This is a weekly occurrence on Tuesdays. It was fun to stroll around and we ended up getting a coffee in Bar Centro, the cafe that is right on the Piazza.......great to hang out there with the same barista behind the bar as two years ago!
